The inaugural general meeting of the Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in the UAE was held on May 29, 2025, at the Korean Cultural Center in the UAE. Approximately 40 attendees, including association members and embassy officials, gathered for the event. Professor Sung Hoi Choi (Daniel Choi) at Khalifa University, who was elected as the first president by member vote, along with the association members and embassy representatives, approved the executive officers and discussed future activity plans for the association. The event featured congratulatory remarks from His Excellency Ambassador Jeh Seung Yoo of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the UAE, as well as video messages of congratulations from the Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI) and KAIST.
