President's Message
Greetings,
It is with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the role of the inaugural President of the Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in the UAE (KSEAU).
Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1980, the Republic of Korea and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have maintained a strong and cooperative relationship. In particular, the bilateral relationship was elevated to a "Strategic Partnership" in 2009, further expanding cooperation and exchanges between the two nations. In recent years, the number of Korean scientists and engineers residing in the UAE has been steadily increasing. Accordingly, the need for effective academic information exchange and collaboration among Korean professionals in science and technology has become more significant.
Against this backdrop, the Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in the UAE (KSEAU) was established as a non-profit organization for Korean science and technology professionals residing in the UAE. Our mission is to foster mutual ties and friendship among members, promote academic advancement, and facilitate scientific and technological exchange between Korea and the UAE.
KSEAU will actively support fundamental and applied scientific research, as well as business cooperation between Korean scientists and engineers living in the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries, and institutions in Korea. Furthermore, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of talent through science and technology programs and Korea-related initiatives tailored for 1.5 and second-generation Koreans.
In addition, we aim to create a structured platform for exchange and collaboration by building a networking and database system for Korean scientists and engineers in the UAE. We will regularly host joint symposia with Korean and UAE scientists and engineers to share knowledge and experience. By operating next-generation programs 4 for youth, we hope to lay a strong foundation for the future development of science and technology.
KSEAU will do its utmost to be a steadfast companion for Korean science and technology professionals in the UAE. We kindly ask for your continued interest and active participation.
